This paper takes watercolor beautifully, and is also recommended for stamping, spraying, and collage, or for use with paintings incorporating pen and ink plus watercolor. Even when just one area is wet, it stays completely flat for easy lifting and more precise control. Colors stay true and brilliant on this fine specialty paper. Ecus is machine made in Austria using environmentally-friendly processes. This paper is uniquely manufactured at 1/5 the speed of mouldmade paper, using a proprietary formula of 100% cotton fibers. Because it is internally sized, Ecus is not recommended for masking or scraping. Available in weights of 300 gsm (140 lb) or 600 gsm (300 lb).
