The lustrous finish on these inspired easels will flatter your home and your artwork. They're constructed of rainforest friendly African Mahogany, with brass and stainless steel hardware. A luxurious stain is applied (Rosewood is depicted here), and the wood is finished with a durable catalyzed clear coat. The innovations featured in this easel are even more exciting than the look. A secure canvas clamping system allows you to paint the sides of your canvas. Under the canvas holder is a 46" long work tray, which is positionable, left or right, to hold a stainless steel solvent bucket with lid. Locking casters hold the easel in place. The Grand Studio Easel accommodates a 108" tall canvas, and maneuvers with an electric or a manual winch. On the electric model, two waterproof foot-pedals control a powerful yet quiet electric motor, hidden behind the painting tray. The regular Wood Studio Easel accommodates a 96" tall canvas, a foot smaller than the Grand Studio Easel, and has a slightly smaller base footprint. It is available with all the same options.
