If you are a landscape painter who works on a grand scale, San Pedro is a wonderful easel for securing large works. It handles canvases up to 82” tall, but it really excels in providing a stable horizontal base for wide canvases. San Pedro has a double mast and wide painting tray, plus piano hinges at the joints for maximum strength. It can tilt forward to accommodate pastelists, as well as landscape painters who want to get the angle of light just right. The sliding mast moves independently of the canvas tray. Adjust it to a multitude of height and tilt settings. The painting tray measures 30" (76 cm) wide, and has rubber cleats to hold the canvas securely in place.
