Handcrafted from solid oak, Best's European Easel is as beautiful as it is versatile. Its hand-rubbed oak finish makes it an attractive addition to any home or studio. Quickly adjustable, this convertible easel accommodates every medium. Adjust it to vertical for watercolor painting, to horizontal or forward tilting for pastels, or to any comfortable position in between for oils and acrylics. With a minimum height of 80" and a maximum of 120", the European Easel is flexible enough to adjust to your changing needs. Although it accomodates canvases up to 84" tall, an adjustable middle painting tray makes it comfortable for small works as well. This rugged yet elegant easel also features a sleek, melamine tray exclusively designed for Dick Blick, and available only when the easel is purchased through Blick. On either side of the tray are two removable steel canisters for brushes or mediums, designed for effortless cleanup. Best builds the European Easel to last. Its base is double laminated for extra strength. The main body of the easel pivots over its H-Frame foundation on solid steel hinges. Requires truck shipment. Ships partially assembled. Box dimensions are 77" × 30" × 10" (196 cm × 76 cm × 25 cm).
