Masterpiece Heavy Duty Cross Braces are for use with Masterpiece Heavy Duty Stretcher Strips. Braces fit snuggly into the slots on the stretcher strips, and can be further wedged for an extra firm fit. These professional grade braces are constructed with the same quality and care as Masterpiece stretcher strips. They are made of clear, solid fir, with no joins. Straight Brace — A brace spans the entire internal length of the canvas frame. Size given is the outer dimension of the canvas frame. Cross Set — One set comes as a pair of braces, which fit between the stretcher strips and the internal Straight Brace. Size given is the outside dimension of the canvas frame. A Cross Set is never used without a Straight Brace. It is possible to use two or more Cross Sets on one long, rectangular canvas.
