These high quality stretcher bars are more than just a piece of wood! Their rounded back edge reduces surface friction and is designed to keep the canvas 1/2" from the stretcher bar. This feature helps insure that there will be no ghost impressions on the canvas. Stretcher bars are made from kiln-dried, knot free, straight white pine. Each strip measures 1 1/4" high × 1 1/2" deep. Note — Price is per strip, not per pair. These stretchers will not interlock with other brands. Best Medium Duty X-Braces — Cross braces are made with the same quality and care as stretcher bars.
