The Handi-Seal All-Purpose Sealer is a convenient, versatile tool for quickly and easily sealing all types of plastic films and packaging. It seals PVC, polyethylene, Saran® Wrap, shrink film, kitchen wrap, and many other types of thermoplastic film and bag materials. It has no awkward power supply and cabling. The sealer is not connected to a base with a hinge, so it can be used to seal very large pieces of art by sealing as many times as necessary. Handi-Seal is very easy to use. Just plug it in, press down where you want to seal, press the button, and the seal is finished. Excess plastic is trimmed away as the seal is made, leaving a thin, strong bond between the two sheets of plastic. Each set includes a heat gun, film dispenser, and pad. Both the sealer and the heat gun run on ordinary, 115V North American household current. They operate at relatively low temperatures, and are suitable for use in the home with proper safety precautions. Caution — Although a heat gun looks like an ordinary hair dryer, it produces higher temperatures than a hair dryer and is unsuitable for personal hair care or drying clothing. Handi-Seal 18 — This sealer measures 18" long and requires 115V. Handi-Seal 25 — This sealer measures 25" long. Requires 115V. |
