Model Ek Electric Kick Wheel — Same construction as the Model K, but this unit may be used with or without the motor drive — Just depress the foot lever and the replaceable rubber drive engages the fully enclosed, ball bearing, 120 volt, 1/3 HP motor . The Modle EK Electric Kick Wheel has a 1-year guarantee. The shipping weight is 290 lbs. Model K Kick Wheel — The Model K Kick Wheel is one of the finest free momentum wheels available. It is engineered for extremely easy operation. The frame is made of steel pipe and angle iron, welded into a rigid tripod unit while safety guards completely surround the flywheel. Bearing under the flywheel is a free wheeling Timkin tapered roller unit, mounted in a special, self-aligning housing. Oiling is needed only once a year. The flywheel has a 28" (71-cm) diameter precision cast concrete unit heavily reinforced with a welded steel spider and wire mesh. There's 24 lbs of steel in the rim for added centrifugal effect while the wheel is about 95 lbs. The center portion has a textured surface for easier kicking. The head on the wheel is 14" (35-cm).
