Premier Trimmers, manufactured by Martin Yale, feature a solid 3/4" thick wooden base with a precision-machined grid that is etched (not printed or painted) into the surface. Use Premier Trimmers to cut through paper, film, photos, fabric, foil, tissue, matboard, canvas, textiles, and more. Cut through up to 20 sheets of 20 lb bond paper at once. The replaceable blades, made of hardened tool-grade steel, sharpen themselves as you cut. Safety is engineered into every aspect of the trimmer. A bright red safety guard rail protects fingers, and a torsion spring keeps the handle from falling accidentally. On the handle is Martin Yale's patented trigger-locking safety latch. When not in use, the handle is locked securely in place. The all-metal ruler is calibrated with both inch and centimeter graduations.
