Logan's hand-held mat cutters are all made of high-tech aluminum alloys and have a reputation for quality and dependability. They are comfortable for both left-handed and right-handed users. All the cutters use Logan's Style #270 blades. Series 2000, 3000, and 4000 make precise 45° beveled cuts, while the 701 makes straight cuts. The 3000 and 4000 models can be upgraded, with the addition of nylon glides in the Logan Accessory Kit, to work with the Logan 301 Compact Mat Cutter and the Logan 750 or 760 Simplex Mat Cutters. Series 2000 — The 2000 push style cutter with retractable blade features a start-and-stop indicator for accurate corners. Series 3000 — This pull-style, professional cutter has a fingertip operated, pivoting blade holder. A start-and-stop indicator controls overcuts. Series 4000 — Same as the Series 3000, but with a special built-in marker system for quickly marking borders from 1/4" to 5 1/2" wide. Model 701 Straight Cutter — Pull-style, with a textured rubber handle, this model cuts precise 90° edges, and includes bearings. Comes with five #270 style blades. Accessory Kit — Contains nylon bearing and screws for attaching the 3000, 4000, or 701 to a rail or board (not included). Replacement Blades — Logan style #270.
