These brilliantly colored gloss glazes are extremely popular. Amaco Gloss Glazes flow during firing to correct most application defects. They fire with a high gloss, and because of their flexibility, good results can be obtained on most pottery clays. Amaco Dry Powdered Gloss Glaze contains gum so only water needs to be added. Mixing three parts glaze to two parts water will yield approximately one pint per 1 lb package. These glazes are applied on mature fired bisque by brushing, dipping, pouring, or spraying. Cone 05 (1915° Fahrenheit) Glazes certified as non-toxic are LG series 11, 20, 21, 23, 36, 40, 45, 46, and 52.
