A classic in flat materials storage! Each handsome unit is self-contained with welded steel construction, wrap-around corners, and a sturdy inner frame. Each 2.125" high drawer has ball-bearing side rollers, a lock and key, a stationary back hook, and a piano-hinged front depressor to protect its contents as the drawer is opened and closed. Safco's Steel Flat Files are available in three sizes, to store standard sheet sizes: Use the file units individually on a base or table, or stack them together for a whole bank of files. Each unit is 16 1/2" tall, and the base adds an additional 6" in height. They stack securely without bolting or brackets, using anti-slip pads (included with each unit). Thus, a 15-drawer ensemble comprising three units and a base will stand slightly more than 55" tall. Flat File Units — Each unit has 5 drawers measuring 2.125" tall. Cabinets have a durable, baked-enamel finish in a choice of four colors — Black, Tropical Sand, White, or Gray. Base — The 6" high base is sold separately in the same color choices as cabinets. The flat file cabinet is almost 3" deeper than the base, so flat files project outward slightly over the base. |
