LeFranc & Bourgeois, renowned since 1720 for their fine oil colors, has developed a true fine artist acrylic paint. Each of the 45 shades is essentially a single pigment color, so that artists can mix colors to achieve the purest possible blends. The paint dries through evaporation of water to a satin finish, forming an indelible plastic film. LeFranc's Fine Acrylic Colors are considered ideal for art restoration because of their stability and lightfastness. The surface is supple and adheres well to any non-oily support, yet it doesn't interact with underlying layers. The LeFranc & Bourgeois philosophy is to provide a smaller palette of pure pigment colors, each one chosen for excellent lightfastness, and for its ability to blend with all other colors in the range. All but three colors (Alizarin Carmine, Blue Purple, and Blue Violet) are rated absolutely permanent, even when lightened. All 45 shades are available in 40 ml (1.35 oz) tubes. Each tube has an airtight "flip-top" cap that makes it easy to open and close your tubes and control the paint flow. |
