Lascaux's modeling pastes offer the artist a ready-to-use paste to build structure for relief painting. Used with a spatula or painting knife, both pastes dry without cracking, even when applied in thick layers. (To minimize drying time, apply several thin layers.) Mix them with Lascaux Acrylics in any ratio for direct painting. Modeling Paste A is a finely ground white paste. Modeling Paste B has the same artist-friendly working properties as Paste A, but it incorporates approximately 33% silica sand with 0.3 mm grain, and is especially suited to fresco-type priming of almost any support.
